1. Information We Collect

When you use HypePing, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: We use Google Authentication (via Supabase) to securely verify your identity. We collect your email address and public profile information to create your account without ever seeing or storing a password.
  • Payment Information: Subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe. We never process, see, or store your full credit card number. Stripe provides us with an anonymized customer ID and subscription status to unlock your account.
  • Usage Data: We track which channels you monitor and the alarms you configure in order to provide the service and load your custom dashboard.

2. Third-Party Integrations

HypePing relies on highly secure, enterprise-grade third-party services to function. By using our service, you acknowledge that your data is securely processed by:

  • Stripe: A globally certified PCI Service Provider Level 1 used by companies like Amazon and Shopify. Stripe handles all financial transactions. Read Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase / Google Cloud: Used for secure database storage and handling your Google Login authentication.
  • Twitch API: We query public Twitch data to provide chat velocity metrics. We do not store or read individual chat messages, only the aggregate volume of messages per second.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly to provide and maintain the HypePing service, process your subscription payments, send critical account notifications (like billing receipts), and improve the dashboard experience. We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.

4. Data Sharing and Protection

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data is stored securely using industry-standard SSL encryption. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your HypePing account and have all associated trackers and records wiped from our database, please contact us at support@hypeping.com.
